Three of the buildings are four-story brick courtyard buildings. The simple exteriors with punched openings fit well with the equally simple exterior spaces. The bar buildings to the north and the south are clad in metal panels: the north in a brown, oxidized copper and the east in green, prepatinaed copper. It's not apparent if the waviness of the metal panels is intentional or a product of installation and/or climate. Either way, this detail detracts from the each facade's composition, the ever present faces that define the site's boundary.
