Regular readers of this web site know that I have a weak
spot for small structures, be they houses, spas, pavilions,
or even installations. This quincho, or place of eating, and
pool in Rosario, Argentina by Rafael
Iglesia definitely falls into that category of small.
While it can be seen solely as a floor, a couple porous walls,
a roof and a table, it is also a rich meditation on nature
and materials, elevating the small shelter beyond its function.
