Belemezov for his project Clock 2000, a symbol of the passage
of millennia (unfortunately unbuilt) located in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Entering the third millennium, we are
inspired to create a symbol of the 2000 years left behind. Passing
through such a major event in time it is inevitable
that we start thinking of the past and future, as well as of
eternity.
However, are we really looking far enough
ahead in the future? Are our horizons not too short, or our values
too ephemeral? |
