The Element House is the design
of Finland's Sami
Rintala, who has done similar architecture/art hybrids
at the Kirishima
Open Air Museum and 2003's Echigo-Tsumari
Art Triennal. While this design approximates the scale
of a house, it is without function, except providing a place
for rest, contemplation and experiencing the surrounding nature. |
