Wilkinson.Eyre created an arcade on two
sides with new cladding; expanded space, both horizontally and
vertically, in the existing building for exhibitions; added a
gallery to the north facade; added exhibition space and terraces
to the roof; and created a planetarium housed in a 15m diameter,
stainless steel-clad sphere. Total additions and conversions
amount to approximately 8000 square meters.
